The film “About Time” was released in 2013 and directed by Richard Curtis. It was hard to determine whether it was about love or superpower. The main character had the ability to go back to the past and change things he didn’t like. It seems complicated, but the movie ignored such butterfly effects and focused on the things that it wanted to emphasize. Here’s its story.
By the age of 21, Tim, who is the leading role of the movie, was told by his father that all men in his family had the ability to go back in time. He then found it was true and used it as a means to find his potential love partner. However, things didn’t work as he expected. After many events occurred and he gradually aged, he learned something from this special power. Just like Tim said at the end of the movie that “We’re all traveling through time together, every day of our lives. All we can do is do our best to relish this remarkable ride.” I think it was truly meaningful to me and all of us.
