"The dark knight" is a movie released in 2008 and directed by Christopher Nolan. It was a superhero movie, but differed from other kind due to the remarkable performance of the villain "Joker", performed by Heath Ledger, was widely acknowledged as the best villain of all time. His outstanding acting technique not only set up a milestone to superhero movie, but also won him an Oscar. However, Heath Ledger died months before the movie being on screen. What a tragedy!!

The story of the movie was about a virtual city, Gotham, which Batman lived in. The gangland in the city were severely interfered by Batman, so they hired "Joker" in the hope to counter him. However, Joker was not a common kind of bad guy. He is such a lunatic that no one can predict what he would do next. Hence, there began a brilliant confrontation between a man who wanted to protect Gotham City and a man who intended to create chaos everywhere.
