“Sen to Chihiro no kamikakushi” aka “Spirited Away” was an animation
produced by Studio Ghibli, directed by Hayao Miyazaki, and released in 2001.
Studio Ghibli has long been acknowledged by its high quality of making
animations, and Hayao Miyazaki is undeniably one of the greatest animation creators.
Although they had made a few successful animations before the film “Spirited
Away”, the feedback of this movie was one of a kind. It endures so long that we
today still consider it as an educational movie and use it as a learning
material in textbooks.
The film won the Oscar of Best Animated Featured in 2003. The success of
this movie reveals that regardless of the cultural differences, the movie
conveys a higher part of human commonality. I think that it is the very reason
why this movie was so popular whether in the east or in the west. Another outstanding
part of the film is that it was received by all age. A kid can have fun
watching it, and a grown-up can think deeply about the film because there were
so many metaphors in it. In a word, no matter what country you come from, what
language you speak, or what age you are, you can surly enjoy the movie very
much.

Though I am no longer a child, I still love those animations directed by Hayao Miyazaki very much.

Well I've seen it a few times, I somehow still can't grasp the main idea since it's a bit obscure. Oh, and the English version trailer definitely drives me insane lol.
回覆刪除BTW, my favorite Miyazaki's film is princess mononoke:D the heroine is soooooo lovely <3333333333
That's a legend movie! Great piece of work!
